Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) has partnered with the Federation of Independent Agents (FIA) to become its official mortgage broker partner.
The FIA is a newly formed network of like-minded independent estate agents who work together to enjoy commercial advantages. MAB can deliver face-to-face advice across all UK postcodes through its 1,200+ advisers, with telephone advice available through six regional telephone advice centres.

The FIA provides access to an exclusive range of approved suppliers which includes FIA member-only discounts, as well as quarterly national conferences, best practice sharing, mystery shopping, free Feefo review account, compliance assistance and online training courses.
It also provides bespoke content and products, local market reports, e-newsletters, an instant valuation tool and a portal lead responder.
There can only be one FIA member agent per town which makes the network said makes it competitive.
There are also strict entry standards including a formal application process and background checks followed by ongoing monitoring of members’ reviews, a mandatory part of membership, provided by Feefo.
